Help the Campbells Get Back on Their Feet

Hi, I'm Glen, Charlotte's son. My stepdad, Brian, spent 40 years in healthcare helping others. He's one of the kindest people you'll ever meet, and he's not a complainer, so asking for help is hard for our family.

Brian has Type 1 diabetes. It has caused neuropathy (nerve damage) and slowly taken his sight, and he has been legally blind for two years. A heart condition has made it harder and harder for him to stay on his feet. He kept working, by Uber and with a cane, through dozens of falls. But for two years he hasn't been able to work or earn an income.

A few months ago, Brian broke his hip, and it had to be fully reconstructed before it could be replaced. Since then his heart condition has worsened: if he stands for more than a minute, he can get dizzy, fall or pass out. He uses a walker, and Mom cares for him 24/7. He can't travel or use a computer to reach his many friends and colleagues, so we're reaching out for him.

At the same time, their heating and air went out, and their water heater failed and flooded the basement. They're heading into winter without working heat or hot water, and their savings are depleted.

Your gift helps

  • Replace their heating and air system
  • Replace the water heater and repair the basement
  • Cover Brian's medical costs and everyday bills

As Mom says, "Through all of this, Brian remains a loving husband, father and grandfather."

If you can give, thank you. If you can't, sharing means just as much. Brian has spent his life showing up for others. Any help you can give him now would mean the world to our family.

With love and gratitude, Glen, on behalf of Charlotte and Brian
